anarcho-flarf vandalism

  1. (Smile). Kensington, as in Kensington Road, Calgary, Alberta? Walked down that street a month ago. Perhaps the origin of this image is inside 'The Roasterie'. Guess I'll never know...

  2. Here's the Google source for the image morphed:
    kensington-riverside-inn.com

    Here's Ross Priddle's poem:

  3. Interesting to see the original image. So, for the record, the Hotel "Kensington" Riverside Inn is actually on "Memorial" Drive, although it's close to Kensington Road. A Hotel "Memorial" Riverside Inn wouldn't have nearly the same appeal...

Thanks also for the link to the poem, and the opportunity to move between sites--from words alone to words + images, for visual interpretations and (re)presentations of the writer's words.

  5. Yeah, Karyn, when I wrote "kensington alberta" i was referring to the Kensington (Road) area of Calgary... my daily walk takes me down Kensington most days!

  6. Glad you're enjoying the reading Karyn. The texts on this site (almost all) belong to Ross Priddle. They are from his Glasstext site: http://glassteat.blogspot.com, and they are usually (mis)represented here one poem at a time.

In the case of "anarcho-flarf vandalism", however, each line of the poem is being worked.

By the way, thanks for the info on Calgary.
